The York County First Responder Training Center, now open, provides state-of-the-art facilities designed for comprehensive training of first responders and public safety workers.

Serving as a regional training hub, the center emphasizes preparedness, skill enhancement, and excellence in public safety and emergency response. As the first facility of its kind in Maine, it sets a new standard for first responder and public safety training, offering modern resources and technology that address critical training gaps in the region.

The center also houses an Emergency Logistics Operations Center, which plays a crucial role in disaster response coordination. This command hub ensures faster, more effective mobilization during crises, supporting the health and safety of York County communities. By providing local, advanced training and emergency coordination, the York County First Responder Training Center strengthens the region’s ability to respond to emergencies and supports the ongoing professional development and well-being of public safety personnel.
